Dwarf Northblue Blueberry
Big Yields With Dwarf Form

  (4 customer reviews)

Gurney's Choice Cold-hardy University of Minnesota introduction. Consistently yields 2-5 pounds of sweet, juicy fruit by mid-June. Ornamental size ideal for landscaping--grows just 2 feet tall.

Looking for a smaller bush with bigger berries? Dwarf Northblue is the blueberry for you! Slightly larger than Tophat and Northsky, growing to 2-3 ft. tall, it will produce 3-7 lbs. of sweet, juicy fruit per mature bush. Dusky blue fruit has a delicious wild flavor, but is larger in size than most dwarf blueberries. Tough and cold hardy, withstanding temps of -35°F, Dwarf Northblue is a good choice for container, garden or landscape with a loose open habit, and red to burgundy fall color. Ripens mid June.

Blueberries belong in every home garden! Not only do they produce deliciously sweet and healthful fruits, but the 2 foot shrubs make handsome landscape plants. Once established, blueberries need little care or attention.

Potted plants.

Excellent plants
Reviewed By: Brent (Marshall, IL)
I got the plants in early april. It was just roots with two branches and a few blooms more or less. I was skeptical whether it would survive. I planted it and trimmed the blooms off and now a month later it is growing like crazy. Can't wait till it starts producing but will be a while still has alot of growing to do but definately worth the cost and time.

Wow!

I couldn't believe it when I opened the box and there were flowers on the plant. It's 6" tall. Doesn't have much in the way of leaves, and they are purple-tinged on the outside (what few leaves it has look very healthy). It has over 3 dozen flowers and I only received it a week ago! I know that you're supposed to remove the flowers the first couple of years for the long term health/yields of blueberries to go up, but that's tough to make myself do. Was very surprised by the flowers. Arrived plenty moist, packaged with the TopHat Patio Blueberry I also purchased.

PRETTY GOOD LOOKING PLANTS
Reviewed By: Gary Toomey (Athens, Al)
Plants traveled well, good root system and plenty wet. Set them out today and we'll let you know how they do. Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is on plant was colored a purple brown, but if it lives I might want them all that color. Time will tell. Everything lo0oks really promising.
