Black Hawk Raspberries
Black Hawk Raspberries
Prolific, Heat-Tolerant Black Raspberry

  (2 customer reviews)

Black Hawk Raspberries are the canner's choice! Midseason crop of firm ebony fruit that holds its shape. Self-pollinating.
No. 1, 1-year plants.

At the supermarket, a handful of raspberries or blackberries can cost $5 or more. But why pay those premium prices when you can harvest baskets of these flavor-filled berries for fresh-eating, jams and desserts right from you own backyard? For easiest harvest and to reduce the risk of fungal disease, provide some types of support for the canes. A simple wire trellis set between posts often adequate. Cut spent canes to the ground after they finish fruiting.

Zones: 4-8.

I've seen these raspberries near lake Erie and picked a few and was delighted by the flavor. These berries made the perfect pie and I was the envy of my family. I highly recommend these berries to the next person.
