Northstar Cherry Tree
Reviewed By: Joe Hoerth (Suring, Wi)
A fast growing little tree - mine have peaked out at 7-8 ft. which makes them real easy to cover with bird proof netting - my meteor cherry tree at 10 plus ft. is a pain to protect. A half bushel of fruit is all I get per tree - maybe in warmer areas you could get 1 bushel as advertised - so you might need several of these. Extremely hardy since I'm in Northern Wisconsin and the trees see -30 almost every winter. Great cherry pie flavor, cans up nice and tastes better than store bought. Pits easy. A short, fruitful and tough little tree, enough said.
