![]() Ruby Spice SummersweetLate-Summer Color in Shady Areas!
(1 customer reviews)This 3- to 6-ft. mounded shrub produces fragrant, vivid pink blooms from late summer through fall. Uniquely hued, this lovely variety flowers longer than any other of its species. Prefers full sun to partial shade, but will tolerate full shade as well as clay soil. Potted. Zones 4-8. This item will ship in fall 2012. If our fall shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following fall. Product Details

I gets full sun till about 5pm but it's planted in clay soil next to the house and rocked instead of mulched. It didn't bloom for the first year; I assume since I planted it at the wrong time, about a week after our first frost. It's a slow grower and even after a couple years looks like a young/new plant.
