Poor FruityTree
Reviewed By: Bob Davis (Jackson, Michigan)
If this is the flat peach tree I bought from Gurneys several years ago I would not bother with it if you want peaches. The tree is beautiful and hearty and sets a lot of blossoms, but goes to wood. Despite heavy pruning in the spring and considerable thinning the fruit never got above a half-dollar size at best and is highly suseceptible to brown fruit rot - and that included considerable horse manure fertilizing in good garden soil. I call it a crab-peach, pretty and hearty but with useless fruit.

Best Peach
Reviewed By: Sandy (Cutler, OH)
I had planned to order the flat wonderful peach tree last spring and didn't do it. I recently went to the Athens, OH farmers market and bought a small basket of flat peaches. I am not sure they were flat wonderful but they were the best peaches I have eaten in many years. I will order two trees for planting this fall. WOW what flavor!
