Japanese Stewartia

One of the Finest Small Landscape Trees Around

  (1 customer reviews)

This unique Asian native is a true year-round beauty. At a mature height of 25-30 ft., this small, pyramidal tree bears lovely, white camellia-like blooms from June through August. The ever-changing foliage emerges bronze-purple and turns to deep green in spring, then to shades of red, purple and gold in the autumn. The eye-catching “patchwork” bark is a treat to behold all year long. An unforgettable specimen or group planting in full sun to partial shade. Bareroot. Zones 5-7.

This item ships only in the spring.
If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring.

I received all of the trees I ordered(Katsura, Zelkova, and Stewartia) in excellent condition. The Stewartia were already trying to bloom. All the trees were in very good health and shipped well. They are planted and I look forward to each one! Thank you for your service!
