![]() Black Krim TomatoProduces Well in the Heat
(5 customer reviews)This unique heirloom variety is considered one of the best “black” tomatoes around. Indeterminate plants produce large, 6-in. fruits that weigh 10-16 oz. each. Heat-tolerant, Black Krim’s color deepens as the summer temperatures rise. Rich, slightly salty flavor makes them an ideal addition to salads. Great for fresh eating, too! 80 DAYS. Tomato plants are not available in ME and MT. Seeds will be shipped within 5-10 days of your order. Plants ship only in the spring. If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring. Product Details

Drip irrigation only when the leaves start to wilt. An application of Bordeaux mixture if leaves start to spot yellow will prevent the spread of fungus if over watered. - Monday, July 25, 2011Takes a while to ripen Reviewed By: Rookie Gardener (Buford, GA) Love the taste of this tomato and how well it's done in GA heat. I am growing Romas, Black Krimms and Black Velvets this summer and tomato hornworms decided to only attack the Black Krimms - probably because they are the tastiest! LOL They take quite a while to ripen on the vine, but are definitely worth growing in the home garden. Next year will try to grow these and Cherokee Purple side by side to compare the flavor. - Sunday, January 02, 2011Great Tomato Reviewed By: Fred (Boise, Idaho) I have grown these tomatoes for the past 3 years and haven't been disappointed yet. The dark sweet fruits are great for sauces, slicing, and juicing. If you have knowledge of organic gardening you shouldn't have to worry about keeping away bugs or disease. Read More Reviews |
