Miragreen is a prolific variety that produces loads of dark green pods and will continue to produce for weeks to come. Each 4- to 5-in. pod contains 8-10 plump, sweet peas, enough for canning, freezing and fresh eating. Heat-tolerant, Miragreen peas remain tender and delicious throughout the entire growing season. Vigorous 4-ft. vines require only a support on which to climb. 68 DAYS.

these should be heavily advertised to replace Wando as a pea that really perfoms well here zone 9 b in early spring. totally amazing yield, tenderness and they freeze like a charm you won't be disappointed, Finally a really good pea for us

2011 marked my 3rd growing season with Miragreen. The plants produced for months for me, however I also stagger my plantings, planting about 15 seeds each week over the course of a month's time. I found that I tired of picking before the plant stopped producing. Miragreen suits my wants such that as long as Gurneys stock it - I will buy it.

Miragreen peas were about 4-5 ft.tall with extra long, full pods. They have an excellent flavor and freeze well. The flavor after freezing still is like fresh-picked. However, I didn't find that they produced for any longer than most peas. I only got about 3 weeks of practical production from the plants. They didn't seem to hold up from the stress of picking.
