Nice concept but.........

Nice concept for planting small seeds but the design is very poor. The cap where you fill the seeds comes off if you press too hard and all of your small seeds come out all at once. Save yourself the $7.00. Real POS. Very disappointed.

Waste of Money

I purchased this item for tiny seeds such as carrots and radishes. The product description implied that this device would evenly distribute small seeds, reducing waste and making plant thinning an easier task. This thing is a dud. I could have done a better job by sprinkling the seeds manually. Save your money and skip this item. It doesn't work.

I bought one of these for tiny seeds like lettuce spring mix and carrots. It does not help control the output of seeds at all in my opinion. I had better results with the one with a reservoir shaped like a disk with a chute on the side. By adjusting the opening and tapping delicately on the side you can control the seeds and where they fall but with this plunger the control is about nonexistent. The seeds either stick to the inside or come out all at once.
