Blueberry Trio
Reviewed By: Karen (Indianapolis, In)
I received my 6 plants yesterday. I purchased 2 trios. The plants are very healthy in appearance. They are potted and each has multiple branches and bright green leaves and many waxy, bell shaped flowers on the 4 dwarf plants. The Ka-bluey have no flowers but also appear healthy. They arrived with the pots wrapped in plastic and the soil is moist. The plants are not limp or faded from shipping. I was expecting brown sticks. I am pleasantly surprised.

Received and planted...we'll see how they do.

Got my three-pack a week ago...and then (of course) it snowed and got too cold to risk sticking them outside at all. The plants appeared healthy, with a few blooms on the Northblue (it hurt me to pluck them off....but gotta make sure that their energy this year is put towards developing strong roots, as opposed to producing a few meager berries. Anyway, due to the cold, I had to keep them inside on a sunny windowsill for four days. Once a reasonably warm day came around, I planted all three in 12 inch pots and will be conditioning them to the outside over the next few days. I will still be bringing them in at night for the next few weeks in order to guard against frost, with the idea being to have them outside full time by the beginning of May. (Note: My rating is based on plant appearance and relative health upon receipt. I will update in a few weeks after they adapt to their new surroundings....)
