Hot Pokers
Reviewed By: Kristine (Seattle, Washington)
I had some of these at our last house and literally they took care of themselves. I trimmed them back in early spring and watered them a little when it got hot but thats about it. They bloom late summer so if you planted some during summer of last year you might have to wait until this year to see them. They are very hardy.

whoa baby!

Started with one plant that bloomed the first year. It produces a ton of seeds which I started the next season combined with natural spreading. I ended up with a group of Pokers that dazzeled everyone who used my back sidewalk. I had to thin and share several plants within two years. Great performer! Easy to grow.
