What a Dud
Reviewed By: Al Binns (Lander, Wyoming)
Growing corn at my location is not easy, but have had good luck with early sunglow hybrid corn for many years. Usual yield is more than my family can eat. Since Gurneys quit carrying that corn, I decided to try the "Gotta Have it" strain. WHAT A BUST!! Of 88 seeds planted, only 28 plants came up -- that is only 32% germination and growth was poor. Harvest was exactly three small ears. Will be buying my corn seed elsewhere in 2010.

I grew the original Gotta have it last year and it was great. I wanted to try the white this year and only got three ears. Go with the original Gotta have it.

Really poor seed
Reviewed By: Rick Lowe (Candler, nc)
Read the catalog rave over the Gotta Have It corn and decided to try it this year. Planted in early May and only had about 75% germination. What plants did come up have grown to around 3' and stopped growning. Now they are tasseling with only one ear per plant. This has really ruined our first corn of the summer. From reading other reviews, this appears to be a common porblem with this batch of seed.
