Worst corn ever

I've grown corn successfully for years, but this seed was terrible. Maybe 10% came up, and then the ones that did come up only got a couple feet tall and then just gave up on life. Horrible stuff. Going back to my tried and true.

I disagree with the preious rating. I'e grown this corn for 3 years straight. It is the best corn I've ever grown and tasted! Friens and neighbors rave about it! I don't now wherre the other reviewer lives or what he did wrong but mine has always been terrific!

I have been growing the Northern Xtra Sweet and Illini Xtra Sweet for years without many issues. We thought we would try a patch of this corn for something different. Germination was very good for us on this crop. Almost 100%. It was growing at a good rate to begin with but then just seemed to become stunted. Each stalk reached about 3-4ft. tall and stopped. At harvest time the ears were small and short with low productivity, while the Northern Xtra sweet flourished. Maybe it was a bad year for this type but I am going to give it one more try.
