Yield: Medium to high
Fruit: Oblong and blocky tubers, with medium heavy golden russet skin. Tuber flesh is white and eyes are shallow and well distributed
Comments: Characteristics: Resistant to Hollow heart, scab and black spot bruising; oblong/blocky to long, russet-skinned, very white flesh. Has excellent flavor and extremely white flesh both before and after cooking. Fertilize at planting time. Mound soil over row as plants emerge to protect tubers from turning green in sun. Harvest after tops turn yellow. Can be stored at 40-50 degrees F (cooler temps turn starch to sugar and warmer temps may cause them to sprout).

As a novice, didn't have any luck with these. Will try one more time, as they seem as though they would be a wonderful crop if successful. Hopefully, second time will be a charm. If not, I'll move on.

not happy with goldrush seed potatoes a lot of them did not come up but my red pontiac seed potatoes from gurneys all came up and really doing well

I think we had to harvest these early, so yield was probably not as good as it could have been. First year planting potatoes, and I am excited to plant these again. Beautiful white flesh and chocolate brown exterior..best mashed potatoes we've ever eaten. I've never described a potato as lovely, but these were!
