I watered it well this spring and gave it food, but it didn't come back. I do live in a tough climate, though. - Wednesday, April 14, 2010Invasive Reviewed By: Shannon (Baltimore, MD) This plant should NOT be planted anywhere. It is considered noxious and invasive in many states. Please do not plant! - Saturday, May 22, 2010Love Butterfly bushes Reviewed By: Debbie (Hartford, CT) I have four butterfly bushes in my garden here in CT and had many in NY as well. They die back almost completely to the ground here, half-way in NY. I do not believe butterfly bushes can be considered noxious weeds in the TRI State Area or New England or any place else that has a cold winter. These plants simply die back and take all spring to grow back and then bloom, beautfully all summer into fall. Attracting such an array of butterflies and hummingbird moths, I wouldn't be without one! Read More Reviews |
