Product Details
Zones: 2-8
Height: 10'-15', loose open habit
Spacing: 8-10
Depth: Set at the same level it is in the container.
Spread: 6-8'
Sun/Shade: Full sun
Color: Intense deep pink
Foliage: Light green, juniper-like leaves but soft not prickly.
Blooms: Early summer
Comments: Absolutely spectacular when in bloom. The vibrant dense flower panicles form startling bold plumes on an open airy plant. This often gives the appearance of the flowers floating in the air. The small delicate foliage provides an assuming delicate background for the whole growing season. Makes a wonderful anchor at the end of a border or pathway. Slow to establish and should be carefully watered until roots get a good hold. For the most vigorous growth and flowering it is beneficial to cut to ground-level in early spring every year or so. RESTRICTED STATES, AE, AK, CO, GU, HI, KS, MT, ND, PR
