Comments: Pure white ray petals reflex downward away from the central spiky cone. Long lasting in floral arrangements. An outstanding perennial for a long bloom season. Extremely durable and weather resistant. Flowerheads can be dried and used in fall arrangements or if left in the landscape, the flower heads become food for finches and other small birds.

Not so good

I planted this tree according to directions when I received it in September and it pretty much withered and is not seen in the ground. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will come back but not so good for me.

Careful!

Careful where you plant this tree. Its roots destroyed our concrete driveway. The tree was planted at least 20 feet away! The tree had to be removed and the driveway repaired, so be prepared!
