Top Hat Patio Blueberry Collection

Top Hat Patio Blueberry Collection

Compact Plants With Full-Size Flavor

  (4 customer reviews)

Exceptional Flavor...
Top Hat is just an all-around great blueberry. You'll love the extra-sweet flavor of these berries as well as their super-crisp texture. They're just right for jams, baking and all of your favorite recipes. Of coarse you may have trouble restraining yourself from eating them right off the bush.

Garden Beauty all Year Round
This practically maintenance-free plant is loaded with clusters of delicate, white flowers for weeks in mid-spring. Appearing in attractive, compact 20-30" mounds, the glossy, blue-green leaves are lush all summer long. Then in fall transform to a lovely red color that will add flair to your fall landscape. Red-tinted branches are equally attractive against a backdrop of wintertime snow. What a show!

Just Right for the Patio
While Top Hat Blueberry bushes are ideal for use in the ornamental landscape, they also work exceddingly well as container plants. So even if you have little space for gardening you can grow them. Place them around the edges of your patio, deck or porch to add an elegant touch, or just put them conveniently next to the kitchen door. Some owners enjoy pruning Top Hat like a bonsai to accentuate its beauty, but only real "pruning" you have to do is when you collect those wonderful berries!

Gurney's Patio Blueberry Collection includes 3 each of Top Hat Patio Blueberry (2 1/4" potted plants).

This item ships only in the spring.
If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring.

Hard to grow
Reviewed By: Tracey (West Chester, PA)
The day I received the plant I took it to Chester Springs nursey for advice and got everything it needed; 3 weeks later it was dead. Im not sure if was bad advice from the nursey or if the plant is just really hard to grow. Regardless, decent soil, sun light, hollytone and water should of worked longer then 3 weeks

Overwatered
Reviewed By: Amber (Gibson, TN)
It was growing just fine. Got all those pretty leaves on it but then it started to die. I finally realized I had over watered it. The pamphlet that came with the plant said that blueberries like cool damp places. Apparently I thought that meant they like mushy dirt. So, I spent $16 on a stick.

Great Plant !
Reviewed By: Debbie Smith (Pineville, WV)
I bought two of these plants last spring. They produced a few blooms but no berries, which I expected in the first year. I followed the instructions, added thick layer of mulch to protect the shallow root system and had minimal growth. This year, they grew quickly and were loaded with white blooms. Now my plants are loaded with blueberries and I can't wait to pick them!! They are gorgeous!
