Impressive and exotic looking, growing 4-7 ft. tall and spreading to 3-5 ft. Emerald-green foliage will develop golden stripes midsummer, and silvery plumes appear in autumn and last through the winter. Does best in full sun, as an accent or grouping. Hardy and will tolerate drought and a wide range of soil conditions. Potted plants. Zones 4-9.

not doing very well

I purchased 12 plants last year,5 didn't come back in spring and the ones that survived aren't doing very well either.They haven't spread hardly at all.I am not pleased with results

Purchased and planted Spring of 2009. Grew about 2 inches from Spring through Fall and that was it. Never took off. Nothing like the picture of description. Hoping this season it will "do something".

WOW! $12.95 for a 2" plant?? You could get your money's worth by spending that at Lowes and getting a 2 Gallon full ornamental grass...They have the most popular varieties there. I got a 2" ornamental grass from another online company but I knew what I was getting as I only paid $2.99 for it!
