Half died but replaced
Reviewed By: Paul Rutter (State College, PA)
I ordered these for 2007 and they arrived and half died as soon as they went in the ground. The other half made it through the summer and are kind of puny. The good side is Gurney's replaced the value of the ones that died. So... plants not so good, but service was excellent hence a 3 rating.

Worth a try

I bought 3 Jumbo blueberry plants on sale at a good price. They arrived only 6" tall and puny, however they all lived and grew over two feet in the first year and had a few berries. You must water weekly through first summer and add sulfer to lower ph. I will try other deals.

Blueberry Jumbo
Reviewed By: James (Lagrange, Georgia)
Plants upon arrival were 7-12 inch plants, fully rooted. All leaves were pale yellow/white because of packaging. I immediately set out 6 plants in prepared soil and watered in. The rest were put into 1 gallon pots in my greenhouse. I watered the outside plants every other day for 10 days as I did the greenhouse plants. All thrived but three, they failed to bud out. In spite of worse drought in history and only weekly watering all plants are doing great. Most had small berries and rapid growth, about 2 inches in one month ! I cut back growth and pulled berries to encourage future growth. Well satisfied.
