Blueberry Jumbo
Reviewed By: James (Lagrange, Georgia)
Plants upon arrival were 7-12 inch plants, fully rooted. All leaves were pale yellow/white because of packaging. I immediately set out 6 plants in prepared soil and watered in. The rest were put into 1 gallon pots in my greenhouse. I watered the outside plants every other day for 10 days as I did the greenhouse plants. All thrived but three, they failed to bud out. In spite of worse drought in history and only weekly watering all plants are doing great. Most had small berries and rapid growth, about 2 inches in one month ! I cut back growth and pulled berries to encourage future growth. Well satisfied.

Plants arrived 7-12 in in size with typical white sickly leaves due to confinement. Set 6 out in blueberry field and the rest in greenhouse. Watered all for 10 days. In spite of worse drought in history outsides are thriving, I've had to cut back growth and remove berries to encourage better future production. Greenhosue plants the same, had three that never came out. "Imported" this variety as a hedge on having too many bushes of one type and only from this area. All surviving plants are doing well.

I got the special of three of these blueberries. Two have sprouted leaves and are doing great. One didn't grow and gurney's sent a replacement. Nothing on that one yet, but we are hoping to see some growth. The ones that are growing are doing great!
