Product Details
Depth: 1"
Sun/Shade: full sun
Days To Maturity: 50 days
Comments: A market leader for years. Early and prolific as long as it is kept picked. Best know for high yields. Widely adaptable. Multipik has the precocious gene for early color, even on the stem. This gene also masks the symptoms of cucumber mosaic virus and watermelon II virus that can turn yellow squash green. Smooth bright yellow fruit are what most markets demand, either picked early as a mini-vegetable or later as market size. Very high yielding straightneck hybrid squash of excellent quality. Precocious yellow straightneck with an elongated medium bulb. Vigorous plant with bush habit.

Fantastic!

This is the one! Even in a blistering Texas summer, the Multipik kept going and going...and going... It continued producing until the first frost! We had so much produce from six plants that we gave up canning and began giving it away...what we weren't already eating! Fantastic squash for hot climates!

Multi-pic
Reviewed By: Bob Bandy (Mountain Grove, Missouri)
Planted 2 multi-pic squash last year, the most fantastic tasting and bearing summer squash I've ever seen. Lost one to the bugs and still one plant out produced reg. crooked neck and zucchini. Got twice as many from one plant as from 8 plants of yellow crook neck and reg. zucchini in the same garden!!

All you need
Reviewed By: Ted Daigle (Youngsville, La)
Multipik will provide you all the yellow squash you need. For the past two years I've had to plant this squash in very poor soil and it still goes crazy! It performs when other plants were withering in the poor soil. Pick 3.5 lbs in one day only thirty days after transplanting.
