Lady Bugs

These are great for the garden. I garden in an enclosed patio so they stay at home better. Compared to other places I have purchased them from, I get many less dead ladybugs from Gurneys and they seem to live longer. They may cost a bit more, but worth the money.

I have ordered lady bugs from Gurneys for two years now. They are indeed as they are advertised... stay at home. I have an extensive Rose Garden and many Honeysuckle vines and bushes. Essentially, I have a hummingbird and butterfly type garden, so aphids can be a real problem. These lady bugs wipe out infestations in a matter of 7 days. Very impressive. I see a numerous amount of Lady bug Larvae on all the plants from the Lady Bugs I ordered last year from Gurneys. You can never have enough Lady Bugs when you live in the outskirts of the city. Rural areas naturally have a lot of Lady bugs because of all the trees or woods. Also, if any of the bags of Lady bugs comes to your home mostly dead, Gurneys is absolutely great about replacing them free of charge. It is very comforting to have a company that doesn't give you any problems. I rate an online garden provider by the quality of the product and customer service... Gurneys rates as an A+ and I would highly recommend Gurneys.com to anyone looking to purchase these Lady bugs. Very trustworthy company. Top notch product!

I have a big many-years-old gynura (purple passion houseplant) that is just gorgeous. It somehow became infested with aphids INSIDE my house. Yuck! After trying everything I could find short of using a systemic insecticide, I ordered the ladybugs. It was hot the day they came in the mail so there were quite a few dead ones. They stayed inside on the plant where I put them and cured the aphid problem. I might be crazy, but it worked!
