DEER HATE THEM!

I live in the country and deer love to eat my garden and Hosta's. I read in a book that deer hate the smell of sunflowers so I grew them last year, and I didn't have a single deer or pests! My plants grew wonderful for once.

We order these seeds every year. Our sunflowers grew 15ft tall and the heads of the sunflowers were huge! So heavy! Unbelievable flower, so pretty and strong!

I plant this variety every year. I love the look of the mammoth plant and flower, and the birds really enjoy their seeds. I have had problems with deer chomping off the flower heads when they're 3-4 feet, so I protect them with netting until they get taller.
