Disappointed

Only about 50% of the seed germinated during two different plantings. Each stalk produced only one small (5") ear of corn. Not much flavor, either. Will not purchase again. Will try another variety.

Easy to grow

Great germination in cool soil. Taste was marginal at best, not sweet. Very fine line between ripe and tough. Bodacious planted 7 days later, was ready only 10 days behind it in readiness. Bodacious blows this corn out of the water in every respect. This year I will wait a few days for the better corn.

I usually plant this variety and have good luck. This was a bad year for it. This variety has good cold emergence and I always plant it early. One of the best varieties.
