After three weeks, planted the other half of the packet, and another 6 plants came up. Worst germination rate I've ever had. The early Northern extra-sweet planted right next to it came up OK. Bad lot? Some one microwaved the packet? Sensitive variety? I can't tell. - Thursday, July 19, 2007Delicious Reviewed By: Qingbo Wilson (marshall, Il) First year that I have planted this corn and it lives up to its name in being flavorful with nice sized ears. I did have to replant as only half came up but this might have been due to the weather since it had been very dry. The replant all came up and we are enjoying this corn. My extended family all love it! - Wednesday, December 12, 2007Good Results Reviewed By: Tom (Delaware, Ohio) This was the first time I planted sweet corn. Planted 2 lbs. on May 3, then another 2 on May 13th. We didn't get much rain. It still did very well, even without spray or fertilizer. Germination was over 90%, altough some of the second planting struggled. We sold some, , gave some away, froze some and enjoyed a lot of it. Thanks Read More Reviews |
