Brighten your home with snow white flowers and perfume in mid winter. Originally from the South Pacific, this is an exotic and unique addition to your indoor plant collection. Indirect sun. Potted. Zones 9-10.

Foliage: wing-like leaves
Blooms: Spring/Summer
Comments: Eastern exposure or four or more hours of direct sunlight from a south window. Pinch stem tips to encourage branching. Average indoor humidity levels. Keep evenly moist, water thoroughly and discard drainage; leaves will drop if soil is too wet or too dry. Day temperature 75-80 degrees F; night temperature 65-70 degrees F. Will not bloom if light is too low. Needs moderate humidity levels. FEED EVERY 2 WKS IN SPRING & SUMMER W/ A 20-20-20 FORMULATED FERTILIZER. GIVE THE PLANT PLENTY OF FOOD AND WATER THROUGH THE SUMMER BUT WATER LESS IN THE WINTER AND DO NOT FEED. POT AFTER FLOWERING IN THE EARLY SPRING.

Jasmin star

I like the jasmine plant that has a lot of perfume, this one (star jasmin)does not have it.

Different Jasmines

Perhaps they simply meant that it did not have the strong scent they were expecting. I love jasmine and have two varieties: Winter Jasmine and Confederate Jasmine. Confederate is much more strongly scented. Winter tends to bloom sooner though, so the scent, though delicate, can be enjoyed before the other has flowered.

Your question about Jasmine blooms. One rule of the thumb ,dont over water any potted plants. Let the soil dry up,untill you see the plant leaves drooping, not dry, then water.You will see buds in 1-2 days, This is true with Hibiscus,Gardinea,Jasmin and most of the tropical plants grown inside.
