Weak Graft ??
Reviewed By: Mark (Clemmons, NC)
I bought a Rainier and Royal Ann in 2008. The Royal lived but the Rainier died. Then got a replacement of Rainier in 2009 but the graft died first then the root stock. I am trying one more time for a Rainer in 2010.

Has never set a flower
Reviewed By: Amy Spencer (Caulfield, MO)
I purchased royal anne and ranier 3 years ago. The trees (especially the royal anne) seem very healthy. Problem is, I have never gotten a single flower- much less a fruit from either. I have fertilized them lightly with a slow release fertilizer on occasion and they seem like lovely trees--- but I sure would like fruit.

great tree

Bought 2 of these last year and was not expecting fruit for at least 3 years due to the size of these trees. Litterally less than 1 year after planting, one of these has many flowers and in addition the Royal Ann I planted a month later (as a polinator) has many flowers too. I am hopefull for fruit this year. These are very rugged trees, in addition to the -20 degree temps reached this year my dog has also done a little pruning of her own and I still have flowering trees!
