![]() Liberty Apple TreeThe First True Low-Spray Apple
(3 customer reviews)Fabulous for fresh eating, juice and sauce, this crunchy, mildly tart apple is much like an easy-to-grow version of McIntosh. Resists scab, fire blight and cedar apple rust—the name actually refers to the breeder’s quest to free the grower from endless spraying! Ripens early Oct. Zones 5-8. This item ships only in the spring. If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring. Product Details

It stores well, its a strong grower and it teast great off the tree. ITs better then 80% of the apple types out there. I wish all my apple tree could grow this strong. - Saturday, February 03, 2007Quick to Produce! Reviewed By: John (Stoughton, WI) This tree actually grew 3 apples the first spring we planted it! They were a great preview of things to come...can't wait to see what this years produces! - Thursday, November 13, 2008Excellent disease resistance Reviewed By: Todd (Raymond, NE) Cedar apple rust is a big concern in my area, as there are many cedar trees around here. I have ten different varieties of apple trees and Liberty is one of three that I have that shows excellent resistance to cedar apple rust. The flavor is really good, also. Read More Reviews |
