![]() Liberty Apple TreeThe First True Low-Spray Apple
(5 customer reviews)Fabulous for fresh eating, juice and sauce, this crunchy, mildly tart apple is much like an easy-to-grow version of McIntosh. Resists scab, fire blight and cedar apple rust—the name actually refers to the breeder’s quest to free the grower from endless spraying! Ripens early Oct. Zones 5-8. This item ships only in the spring. If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring. Product Details

Man this thing is small with no branches. Not impressed with the development of the tree at all. I would think the thing would have a couple branches at least. Save your money and got to a local nursrey and buy somthing that is already established. - Tuesday, March 13, 2012Grew very well Reviewed By: John (Otselic, NY) Got 2 Liberty trees last spring and they were very robust when I got them and grew very well. Very satisfied ! - Thursday, November 13, 2008Excellent disease resistance Reviewed By: Todd (Raymond, NE) Cedar apple rust is a big concern in my area, as there are many cedar trees around here. I have ten different varieties of apple trees and Liberty is one of three that I have that shows excellent resistance to cedar apple rust. The flavor is really good, also. Read More Reviews |
