Reviewed By: mark (Oakland, CA) I'm a home brewer so it would be better if Gurney would supply the specific type of hop plant these are, as that changes beer recipes. 'More bitter' than most doesn't help much. - Thursday, May 05, 2011Great vine Reviewed By: Jim (Des Moines, IA) I ordered these a while ago and when I finally received them they did not look like much. They have been in the ground less than 2 months and already are approaching 2 feet. Not bad progress considering the weather here in Iowa couldn't decide whether it was spring or winter this year. I am looking forward to adding these to my wort, and hopefully these will add a nice bitter taste to balance out the brew. My 2 vines are really doing well, and I do not have the great soil on my property that Iowa is known to have. Give these a try, as I can expect mine to get pretty tall if they continue as they have been. Read More Reviews |
