You can cut it down but it will then tunnel under ground and come up close by. It will climb on anything and everything. - Thursday, May 03, 2007Thank you to Janet Reviewed By: Heather (Crozet, VA) Thanks to Janet's excellent review of the Red Trumpet vine, I was better able to plan where to put such a plant, that "you can't get rid of." Thank you Janet. Your review was extremely helpful in knowing the proper place to let this beautiful vine "do it's thing." - Monday, September 15, 2008Hummers love Trumpets Reviewed By: Cindy (Bridport, Vermont) This trumpet vine is spectacular, virogous and attracts hummers. It can be invasive and its description ought to warn purchasers to locate it where they want it and to keep it trimmed back and clip or mow over the runners/shoots. Great plant. Read More Reviews |
