Wonderful Plants

I ordered 12 of these in the spring, and though it's August now and they haven't bloomed yet, I want to say that when they arrived I was impressed at the health of the potted plants. They were about 8 inches tall and packed with great care. They have absolutely taken off and are quite the hardly bushes. So much so, that I expected them to not grow much the first year and they are already crowding out some of the annuals they are "living with". They do like the sun. A couple that I planted in part sun are fine but not as big. I have even been able to propagate two plants from one of the plants I recieved. I snipped them back sparingly for the first year but they have shapped up beautifully. I am planning to order more for spring and get some of the football mums as well. I can hardly wait for fall to arrive to see the beautiful blooms. Don't purchase from anyone buy Gurney's. One year I ordered from another major catalog and they came bare rooted. Gurney's are wonderful. I give 5 stars to Gurney's and these beautiful cushion mums!

Breathtaking!

This Spring I ordered 4 each of white, pink and lavendar. Different colors produce differant size and shape flowers. All are especially lovely. They arrived in little pots and I was very surprised and pleased at how large the plants were. They are blooming now and absolutely lovely. I snipped the top off one and rooted it and it's sitting in my kitchen window blooming now along with it's little friends outside. They do LOVE the sun and where I planted them in the most sun, they are larger, but will bloom and do well, though not as large, in partial shade. You cannot go wrong with these beauties. I am ordering the football mums and more of the cushion mums for next spring and taking them to my Sons home to plant. I will also propogate more off my plants and have plenty. My only regret is that I don't have more room to have these all over my yard.

I purchased 12 of these plants. I was surprised at how small the plants were when they came. They were healthy looking but not very big. I did not have high hopes for them. I am very pleased to say how mistaken I was. These plants grew to be at least 6 times the original size. They bloomed beautifully and for a long time. I received several compliments on the plants and asked where I purchased them. I had not ordered from Gurney's before but I plan on ordering several of these mums again for a different area of my yard.
