If less than half will germinate this is super expensive seed. I will think again about my orders. - Wednesday, October 24, 2007Great with grass Reviewed By: Stephen Briles (Eagle Mountain, Utah) Raised a test plot of Gurney's Dutch White Clover mixed with Dwarf tall fescue. The clover did extremely well with very little water even in a month of 100+ degree weather. Low growing meaning minimal mowing, drough tolerent, and stayed greener than the grass. Even withstood the geese getting into it. Next year I am planting it along the front side of the lot by the road where nothing but weeds grow now. Great choice as it adds nitrogen and shades the soil thus helps the grass survive the summers. - Friday, March 20, 2009Clover Benefits Reviewed By: Russell (Nashville, TN) I planted some clover and it comes back each year. It reseeds itself and it great in the summer to with minimal water. I love it best because it eliminates the weeds in the grass and kills the bermuda grass. Bermuda grass hates Nitrogen and clover produces Nitrogen. So I planted it all over my yard particularly where the bermuda grass was and it kills the bermuda grass. Love it....This is the 3 years I have clover and it spreads quickly. I'm going to add some more this year and I'll have enough in my yard to last years. Clover will come back year to year so it is expensive to buy the seeds but once it starts growing it reseeds itself year to year. Highly recommend this to cut out weeds, kill bermuda grass, greener grass in the summer time as it shades the grass and helps the grass grow by adding nitrogren to the soil which grass loves.
