Dainty heart-shaped flowers dangle from 2- to 3-ft. stems in late spring. Lovely in front of ferns or anywhere in a woodland garden. Full to partial shade. 2-3 eye root. Zones 2-9.

Amazing little plants!

I purchased two of the bleeding heart plants and planted them 3 weeks ago. When they arrived, they were just little pieces of the root. They are already over 12 inches tall and they have flowers! I am so impressed with the quality of this product and would recommend it to anyone!

I soaked the bareroot like the instructions said. I wasn't sure which way to plant the bareroot so I laid it down horizontally and hoped for the best! I mulched and kept it moist. It seemed to come up over night, literally, about 2 1/2 weeks after planting the root. A week after that small buds appeared. I now have a beautiful strand of pink flowers on a foot tall plant. I really love it - the stem and leaves are just as beautiful as the flowers.

I received them two weeks ago and planted them in pots. I got two plants and one of them is already blooming! In just two weeks! I was little bit worried for the Florida hot weather, but I placed them to all day shade and they do very well.
