Product Details
Zones: 4 - 8 (-30° F.)
Height: 2' - 3', upright
Spacing: 15-18 inches
Depth: plant firmly 1 inches - 2 inches deep and water in well.
Spread: 2' - 3'
Sun/Shade: full sun to partial shade
Color: cherry - red
Foliage: 2-5 inches, lanceolate, dark green with a deep red tinge to new leaves
Blooms: mid summer onwards, 6 weeks plus, flowering extended by removing spent flower heads.
Comments: Possibly the best deep red Phlox. A beautiful addition to the garden from the moment its first flowers open. Averaging from 6 - 12 stems on a well established plant. This not only makes for bold displays in the garden but provides armfuls of cut flowers. Most varieties benefit from being dug up and divided every 3 - 4 years or when the flower production drops. Plants do best if you select a sunny airy site, as the majority of Phloxes are susceptible to mildew and need good air circulation. Water in mornings so moisture can dry off during the day.

Like the Laura Garden Phlox that I purchased with this, it did not show up last spring, I called Gurney, they sent bare roots again, again, no sign of them this spring. Very disappointed.
