Attracts Droves of Butterflies
(11 customer reviews)Blossoms when most shrubs have finished flowering for the season--late summer--for a welcome flush of color. Arching sprays of foliage frame clusters of sweetly fragrant flowers that resemble lilacs. Perfume attracts droves of butterflies--that's exactly how this beauty got its name! At 6-10 feet, it makes a supremely colorful lot line screen. Prefers full to partial sun. Potted plants. Zones 5-9. Product Details

Reviewed By: Gale (Huntington, IN) Odd, 2 reviews 4 days apart both written by Gale in Indiana. I looked up a lot of the names on the positive reviews in the white pages and could find noone with those last names in those cities or nearby. I guess all the reviewers must have unlisted numbers. Just seems odd. - Monday, June 01, 2009Come on Butterflys Reviewed By: Randy (Racine , Wis) I've been wanting to attract Hummingbirds and Butterflys for years and finally got the courage to jump in and I got 4 of them. I received them early April and repoted them asap. I planted them outside 2 weeks ago and they're growing so fast! I've been a customer of Gurneys for 15 yrs. and have rarely been disappointed with their products. - Tuesday, May 12, 20092 months old Reviewed By: Salena (Princeton, TX) I got this plant in late Feb, and went ahead and planted it. It sat there, green for a month, before I noticed a new leaf. Now its 2 months later, and it's finally growing, I'd say I have 6 in of new growth, and am really looking fwd to seeing some blooms later this season! Read More Reviews |
