They did well, and all survived the winter. One flowered this spring. Then it got wet. Two have died from fungus. Dry isn't good, but too wet isn't, either. I had really looked forward to having a pretty, tasty fruit plant. - Friday, June 12, 2009Just planted cranberry Reviewed By: avinash (Goa India, Alto Betim) My friend's friend Susan send me today two saplings of Cranberries from Gurneys. I have planted them as per the instruction mentioned in the leaflet. I liked the packing. It was send 4 weeks back. I found the leaves green. It is beginning of monsoon in Goa. But rains are not that heavy. Expected heavy rains in week. I had for long wanted to grow cranberry and I collected many articles on web. Cranberry has high nutritional values and useful as medicine. I will jot my experience in this place as and when I find some nice thing happening in my garden. May be I can add photos. Thanks Susan and Marina for sending so far beyond seas and oceans. Avinash - Thursday, August 21, 2008Moisture control Reviewed By: Ronald (Rosemount, MN) My third try. The plants arrive healty & fine, but I don't water well & they dry up. This year I planted it in a hanging basket (in peat moss) and set that in a bucket half full of water. Now it is doing quite well. No flowers the first year...we will see next year.
