Prince of Orange Poppies are satiny, ruffled-looking flowers studded with jet-black stamens and framed in grayish-green foliage. Blooms late spring to midsummer, grows 18-30 in. tall. Best in full to partial sun, almost any soil.

Depth: Plant crown 1" deep in humus enriched soil. Leaves will appear in fall and persist through winter. Will die down in the heat of summer.

Hard to find poppy

I have been looking for a replacement for the orange poppy that we have had for 40 years in same spot in front of my mothers home. The rodiants did it in this year and I was crushed. I will be ordering this poppy. Thanks
