But this year I've replanted 3 times, each with about 20% germination. Sure makes for an ugly row of corn. I wish I had read the reviews before spending good money on corn that would only germinate about 10-15%. I tilled it all under and will stick with local corn seed from now on. Reviewed By: David (Russell Springs, KY) I thought I'd try this expensive corn and I'll never get to taste it! I bought enough to plant 4- 40' rows and it had the most horrible germination of anything I've ever planted (less than 15 percent) even after soaking about half the seeds. I have just turned it all under and replanted with the Illini that I faithfully use!! Beware.... I planted according to pkg. instructions and was very dissapointed with the germination. out of 2 pkts. plantedonly 10% came up.
