I planted them in 2 different spots. They produced a decent quantity but I've never gotten a pepper the size as the ones pictured for advertising. At most, 4 inches in length. But, the other five that did produced like nothing else till first frost (Oct 28) when I picked about 50 or so peppers. Reviewed By: James (Brooksville, FL) Peppers start off green, then turn various colors when ripe... as far as I know, all peppers do this, as many vegetables do, however immature peppers can be used and are quite tasty in their green state. To get colors... just wait until they are mature!
