They are wonderful. - Sunday, January 18, 2009Best performer Reviewed By: Dawn (Poland, IN) I planted 4 different peach trees 4 years ago and Contender and Belle of Georgia were the two that performed best. Golden Jubilee and Reliance just haven't done as well in my yard. I am looking to add a half dozen of the two that performed best this Spring. Both trees produced peaches that were juicy, sweet and drenched in that wonderful fresh off the tree taste I recall as a child in NJ. Nothing better than growing your own fruit! - Wednesday, September 10, 2008best juicy peaches Reviewed By: Indre (Stow, OH) I planted this tree last fall, it made it through the winter, blossomed beautifully in the spring and gave us a dozen of the tastiest peaches there are. This is a great tree. Can't wait to see how big of a crop we get next summer. - Monday, May 19, 2008Plant them early!!! Reviewed By: Mick Reese (New Paris, IN) Late spring of last year, I planted two of these trees. Even though I watered them like crazy, they didn't make it. Gurney's replaced them free of charge. They shipped them in early March of this year. I had to break thru two inches of frozen ground to plant them. That was the key!!! I watered them alot and the leaves just burst out. They look very healthy. I am convinced that planting these trees early as posible is the key!!! Great tree. Hopefully fruit in a couple of years. |
