This is one outstanding apple!! It’s easy to grow and tastes better than anything you can find in your Stores. Flesh is yellow; extremely crisp and breaking, yet somewhat melting; medium to fine grained; juicy; moderately to mildly acid, rich, spicy, full flavored; excellent for up to one month after harvest. Better than Honeycrisp off the tree but not sure about after a few months of storage. May be the reason it’s not in stores now.

I received my trees this spring, and was pleased with the size and condition of all of them. I planted them and they grew fast, with many new limbs. some of the limbs grew up to 4', and still have some leaves even after temps down to 18 degrees and its Christmas time in WV.

Bushes out fast

I ordered over a thousand dollars worth of fruit and nut trees and berry bushes from Gurney's this spring. These little apple trees are doing better than anything else I ordered. I bought two of these and planted them about 2 and a half months ago. They came as a stick with all the limbs cut off and just a bare root. But, they now have newly grown limbs and leaves all over. The limbs have already grown from six to eight inches in the short time they've been planted.

Second season and we had apples, couldn't keep them on the tree as the boys found out how yummy they were. Hopefully they'll get a little bigger(the apples that is) gonna have to get another tree.

Though I received my trees 6 weeks early still having at least a foot of snow on the ground, these trees grew like crazy, 4 foot plus, and with many branches in its first year.
