Too small a tree
Reviewed By: G.Y. (Dallas, Tx)
Ordered this bare root tree in May this year. So far it has new leaves, and seemed survived. But the tree was too small to begin with. The height was about 2 feet and trunk/branches were like pencils and the leaves were penny size. To me, this tree needs 3-4 more years to produce any thing. So 4 stars is mainly for its surviving Texas hot temp. so far.

Great tree

We ordered this tree last fall and a golden pixie this spring. Both came bareroot and I was doubtful. They are both putting out leaves and are growing well, even in our dry hot climate with poor soil.

I got my standard deluxe trees just a month ago, it's remarkable how fast they are growing.

Best apples ever!

My 2 year old tree had about 10 apples this past season, excellent crunch and flavor, one of the best apples I've ever grown.

Though I received my trees 6 weeks early still having at least a foot of snow on the ground, these trees grew like crazy, 4 foot plus, and with many branches in its first year.
