Lasted Only 1 Year Reviewed By: Cheryl (Tumacacori, Arizona) Yep, like in the other reviews, my carefully handled mat stopped heating near the beginning of its second season, although it worked terrifically the first year. I have decided not to replace it, and just start the seeds earlier.  -  Thursday, March 05, 2009 Waste of Money Reviewed By: Pat (Ramah, New Mexico) The cost of these mats keeps climbing and the value lessens. Out of 5 mats used for 2 seasons, 3 have stopped working. This is nearly a $100 replacement cost. If the industry wants the non-commercial customer to continue using these mats, a cost adjustment is necessary. I won't replace them, I'll find another solution to heating the bottoms of my seed trays, thank you very much.  -  Wednesday, December 17, 2008 Worked great three seasons. I really liked it and am looking to replace it with a larger one. I hope the next one I buy lasts longer.
