When I got mine I soaked them for 12 hours using Hi Yield root formula. I was picking strawberries into November and they were still blooming when the snows came. - Saturday, March 31, 2007Strawberries Reviewed By: Raymond Carter (Millington, Tennessee) I placed my order two years ago. I thought there was a mistake because I recieved 50 plants instead of 25. I lost only one or two plants the first year and they were putting on real well. Last year we had plenty of berries and many more we put in the freezer. I was really looking forward to this year. While I was out of town on business my son wanted to help me by plowing up my garden. Unfortunately he thought the straw covering my strawberries was only mulch. I will be placing another order for more of your strawberry plants. - Tuesday, May 01, 2007amazing Reviewed By: d.n (brooklyn, new york) When I got my plants for the first time I was shocked to see bare roots. But just after one week, these berries grew 4 inches tall. I just couldn't believe how fast these berries grew. Only 2 plants died unfortunately. I recommend putting a small fence for the first week so the squirell won't eat the plants. That's how my 2 plants died. Good luck - Monday, May 14, 2007Awesome berries! Reviewed By: Nancy DeCoursey (Hopkinsville, Kentucky) How pleased our family has been with our Ozark Beauty Everbearing Strawberries. We ordered the pyramid, plants and netting in spring of '06. The plants are presently loaded with sweet, delicious strawberries! Thank you Gurneys for yet another productive crop from your company. - Tuesday, March 18, 2008Very good plants!
