Product review for Blue Girl Hybrid Tea Rose Overall Rating: ![]() Write an online review and share your thoughts with other customers Sort Reviews: Newest | Oldest | Highest Rating | Lowest Rating :: Viewing page 1 of 2 - Friday, March 06, 2009Just Ordered these Reviewed By: Nicole (Rock Springs, WT) Just ordered these... it is hard to find a good rose that will do well in this area. Hoping this will be the one. I will be back at the end of the season to let you all know how it did. And possible at the start of next to let you know if it weathered the winter well. Only put one because I don't know how it will do and they won't let me post without a rating. - Saturday, June 13, 2009Beautiful Lavender Blooms Reviewed By: Jude (Stony Brook, NY) These are beautiful. I have a blue hydranga that requires aluminum sulfate to encourage the blooms to look truly blue. I am wondering if you add a bit of aluminum sulfate to the soil the blooms may become a truer blue. Anyone have any experience or success with this? - Monday, March 19, 2007Fantastic Reviewed By: Trish (Pensacola, FL) This was the first rose I ever attempted and it was very rewarding. It bloomed many times the first season. It is only March in its second season and I have 8 buds ready to bloom!! The only reason I rated it a 4 is because the color is not as profoundly blue (more pale lavender)as it is in the picture, but it is still beautiful. - Thursday, May 15, 2008Purple Girl Reviewed By: Cowboy (San Antonio, Texas) It is a purple rose. Not blue at all like the picture. Other than that, it is beautiful. It is growing at an incredible rate. I only planted it a couple months ago and I've already had 5 blooms. - Sunday, September 09, 2007smells heavenly Reviewed By: dave (me, augusta) I remember the time I bought this from Gurney. I waited eagerly for the moment. I saw a beautiful rose in the garden. I picked it and wowww! It smells like heaven. I got 5 stems of roses first summer but this rose is my favorite. Though it looks light purple which is nicer than the picture. |
