Hoping this will be the one. I will be back at the end of the season to let you all know how it did. And possible at the start of next to let you know if it weathered the winter well. I have a blue hydranga that requires aluminum sulfate to encourage the blooms to look truly blue. I am wondering if you add a bit of aluminum sulfate to the soil the blooms may become a truer blue. It bloomed many times the first season. It is only March in its second season and I have 8 buds ready to bloom!! Not blue at all like the picture. Other than that, it is beautiful. It is growing at an incredible rate. I waited eagerly for the moment. I saw a beautiful rose in the garden. I picked it and wowww! It smells like heaven. I got 5 stems of roses first summer but this rose is my favorite. Though it looks light purple which is nicer than the picture.
