Great tree!
Reviewed By: Carol D. (Vidor, Texas)
So far this year, I have purchased 4 of these trees! All are doing very well....started leafing out less than a week after they were planted! Will be purchasing 2 more soon! We live in the area of Texas that was ravaged by the hurricane and we lost many trees. These will be a welcome to my yard. Great tree that will add value and beauty for years to come!

Scarlet Maple!
Reviewed By: Anita Exum (Plant City, Florida)
Well...this is a follow up of my previous reviews. Gurney's did send me a replacement from the first tree not producing. My replacement tree is doing very well; full of leaves. By amazement the first tree after weeks of watering finally sprouted leaves. The first tree doesn't have as many leaves as the replacement does. But I believe they will do very well. I will see if they hold up to hurricane winds and follow up at a later date. The key is water, water, and continue watering.

Great Tree

When my wife and I bought one of these a few years ago, I lived it, and it seemed to do really well. Then when I had to move the tree to make room for us to build a house, I transplanted it, and it continued to flourish.

Replacement A Charm
Reviewed By: Erin Sokolowski (Eau Claire, Wisconsin)
I ordered this tree last year and it never grew a leaf or even budded! I wrote to Gurney's because of the 1 year replacement guarantee. They sent my replacement over a month ago and it is sprouting leaves like crazy! I think the best thing to do is to get it planted immediately upon arrival. We waited 2 days last year but who knows how long it was sitting at the USPS! You also have to be very diligent about watering. We give it a gallon of water a day unless it's raining. I expect this tree to do very well! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because of the 1st tree being dead and I don't know if this tree will continue doing well. I hope to update in a couple of years.
