The trees (especially the royal anne) seem very healthy. Problem is, I have never gotten a single flower- much less a fruit from either. I have fertilized them lightly with a slow release fertilizer on occasion and they seem like lovely trees--- but I sure would like fruit.  -  Thursday, April 30, 2009 great tree Reviewed By: Eric (Milton, New Hampshire) Bought 2 of these last year and was not expecting fruit for at least 3 years due to the size of these trees. Litterally less than 1 year after planting, one of these has many flowers and in addition the Royal Ann I planted a month later (as a polinator) has many flowers too. I am hopefull for fruit this year. These are very rugged trees, in addition to the -20 degree temps reached this year my dog has also done a little pruning of her own and I still have flowering trees!
