Don't waste your time. - Tuesday, April 10, 2007No Pampas Reviewed By: D. Canaday (Mayer, AZ) I also thought I could grow this grass. I see several in the neighbourhood and have always wanted some. I ordered 8 and only 2 have even a green blade on them. Won't try this again unless they are really mature. - Saturday, May 10, 2008White Pampas Grass Reviewed By: Ruby (Nashville, Tennessee) I ordered both white and pink pampas grass. The pink came looking fairly hardy. The white looked rather anemic. I was unable to plant the plants as soon as I got them, so I planted them in flower pots. I have had them about a month and the pink is flourishing in the pots; the white is finally starting to look healthy enough to maybe survive if I plant it in the ground. I have babied it all the way. I even treated it with Ivory bar soap disolved in water in case it had aphids. I don't know whether that helped it perk up or whether the weather getting warmer has done it. Anyway, wish me luck; I'm going to plant it in the ground this weekend. From reading sll of the other reviews, I think I'm going to need it. Thanks, Ruby - Friday, April 20, 2007Beautiful Plant Reviewed By: Nina (Madera, CA) Arrived very much alive. No problems growing it, you can actually see progress. Can't wait until it matures. - Friday, May 09, 2008White Pampas Reviewed By: Rick (Albuquerque, New Mexico) I ordered your Pampas grass a year ago last spring. The plant was small but it grew very fast and even had two full seed pods by the end of the summer. The grass is growing well the second spring. |
