It is a magnet to butterflies....they love the nectar. It has grown to almost 7' tall and 5' wide. They were planted for my daughter who is now 2 and enjoys sitting outside watching the butterflies "smelling the flowers." One plant is roughly 8 ft and the other 6ft. Since planting, we haven't had much snow here and last year I didn't cut them down. They stayed green all winter long which was neat.
